1. Principle

We contribute to realization of good society in our efforts to global environmental conservation according to ISO14001 which is international standard on environmetal management.

2. Policy at head office and factory

While we develop, manufacture and sell nonwoven and felt goods, we commit ourselves to environmental conservation and commensalism with local society. According to the "Environmental Management System", we follow the rules as below:

(1) We clarify the environmental effects caused by our activity. We set a environmental target and make efforts to always to reach it for the purpose of environmental conservation and pollution control.

(2) We follow the environmental regulations and the agreements made by our city, Itami and other communities and organizations.

(3) Our main activities on environmental conservation are "waste reduction" and "promotion of waste recycling". At the same time, we promote the following themes.

(1)Saving of energy and resources
(2)Reduction in harmful effects by exhausted water from our factory
(3)Maintainance of air pollution control facilities
(4)Reduction and control of chemicals which cause bad effects to environment
(5)Development and re-design of products which serve environmental conservation and /or give less effects to environment

(4) This policy is to be known and understood by all of our employees and opened to the outside of our company.

ACTIVITY ON ENVIRONMENT

In the current globalization we can not live without international competitiveness. Also, we always need to take environment into consideration. We at head office and factory of Fuji Corp got approval of ISO14001, environmental international standard and have been making continuous efforts in improvement on our environmental activity.

Our main activities on environment

1995	Change from heavy oil boiler to gas boiler
March 1998	Approved by ISO14001. "Environmental Management System" brought in and started.
August 1998	"Co Generation System" brought in and started.
January 2002	Incinerator at our head factory closed.
October 2002	"Zero Emission" accomplished at our head office and factory. (100% recycled of waste exhausted from our company activity)

In order to establish "recycled society", we have been promoting recycle of wasted materials which are exhausted from our company activity.

CONTRIBUTION TO LOCAL SOCIETY

1. Cleaning at factory surroundings

We clean our factory surroundings in basic environmental activity.

2. Commensalism to local community

We have various activities for commensalism with local community such as "BON-ODORI" which is a Japanese traditional dance festival held every summer.
