As a environment-friendly organization, we are developping felt material which reserves natural resorce. By a tie-up with NGK INSULATORS, LTD. and TOHO TENAX CO., LTD. in 1994, we succeeded in development of precision felt for NAS® batterey electrode and started supply and sales of it in 2002. NAS® battery is now becoming the object of public attention, because the required area for installation of NAS® battery is approx. one third of that for a lead acid battery. It is helpful for more efficient use of night electricity supply and will work as spare battery in large volume for urgency at stoppage of electric power.
