In cooperation with an end-user, we have developed various needlepunched felt goods for interior materials of an automobile for a long period. Being heat insulation materials, the interior materials of an automobile need to be as thin, durable, good-looking and low in cost as possible. Our product design and productivity have been improved by surviving the severe competition in the product development. The design of a pattern is important for the felt applied in door of overhead linings of an automobile. Felt is also the most suitable for the lining of the trunk compartment, since it is good at moldablity and sound-proofing.
