a) Nonwoven started to be developped in full-scale in the early
1950s. It is still a young product in the long history of textile
industry.
b) We produce needlepunched nonwoven. We also produce spunlaced nonwoven
of stainless steel and PTFE.
c) It is in early 1960 that needlepunched nonwoven began to be produced
in large volume in Japan. At that stage, we started production of
needlepunched nonwoven, too.
d) Now our needlepunched nonwoven goods are used in various fields
such as IT Industry, Environmental Protection Industry, Energy Industry,
Automobile Industry, Electric Industry, Interior, Building, Cloths,
Ferrous & Non-Ferrous Industry, Civil Construction. We always
try our best to satisfy customers' requirements and contribute to
society. |
| (2) Felt |
| Felt is made out of animal hairs such as wool and rabbit hairs which
has scale-like surface. Thanks to this scale- like fiber surface,
these fibers can be felted by watering, heating and pressing.
Felt came into practical use in the ancient era. Felt Hat was discovered
in the ancient ruins of Ying Lan (), central Asia. Also, you will
find Felt Rug kept in the "Shoso-in Treasure House(q@j"
which was built in the 8th century in Nara, Japan.@
There are 2 kinds of Felt. One is Pressed Felt and another Woven
Felt. We produce Pressed Felt of Wool and Rabbit Hairs. |
| Name |
Manufacturing methods |
Application |
| Pressed felt |
Animal hairs(wool, rabbit hairs) carded, overlapped, heated,
watered and pressed. |
Piano hammer felt, polisher, sealant, interlining, rug, hat. |
| Woven felt |
Woven or knitted woolen cloth heated, watered and pressed. |
Conveyor belt for paper mill, beret hat etc. |
|
Our organization was establised as manufacturer of felt for hat
in 1927. We are the first to be recognized as manufacturer of JIS(Japan
Industrial Standard) wool felt in Japan, which was published in 1960.
Now we produce and supply piano hammer felt, polishing felt, and other
felt goods for audio-visual equipments and various applications. |
